The only private institution among the four selected to participate in this prestigious program, UIndy has solidified its reputation as a leader in education reform and teacher education in working with school districts throughout the state to develop bold, innovative methods to prepare teachers and students for 21st-century challenges.

UIndy is a comprehensive, selective, independent institution of 4,600 students located minutes from the heart of Indiana’s capital city. The university is distinguished by highly respected undergraduate programs in education, communication and the health sciences, nationally ranked graduate programs, and centers of excellence focused on education reform and aging studies.

The Indiana Teaching Fellowship at UIndy is a collaborative effort between the School of Education, the College of Arts and Sciences, and UIndy’s Center of Excellence in Leadership of Learning, known as CELL, which is spearheading school improvement across the state.
