What can you expect from our programs?

All of the programs offered by the Office of Professional development will:

• Meet the participants' needs through carefully-tailored agendas.
• Demonstrate multiple ways to enhance standards-based instruction.
• Actively involve participants in real-life, task-oriented, hands-on experiences.
• Affirm the theoretically strong practices the participants are currently using.
• Use modeling and a peer support system to support participants as they implement changes in their classroom practice.
• Provide an opportunity for participants to discuss and reflect on the classroom applications/adaptations of their learning.
