The state approved University of Indianapolis Mentor Teacher Training Program is a rigorous, on-going program of professional development designed to enable mentors to prepare for dynamic, reciprocal relationships with newly qualified teachers. The program, consisting of six full days of training, provides interactive opportunities for participants to develop and broaden their knowledge base, reflective practice, and information processing and relational skills pertinent to mentoring a beginning teacher.
